Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using The Strategic Edge AI platform (the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. The registration record stores the version and timestamp accepted. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
2. Educational Purpose Only
The Strategic Edge AI is an educational strategy-development platform. Content, AI-generated analyses, strategy specifications, generated code, and backtest analyses are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial advice, an investment recommendation, a trading signal, or a guarantee of performance.
3. No Financial Advice
Information provided through the AI assistants, Mastery Series, Strategy Projects, generated code, backtest analysis, and other features should not be interpreted as professional financial advice. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use any information or code produced by the Service.
4. Risk Acknowledgment
Trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for all individuals. Backtests, simulations, generated strategies, and historical results do not guarantee future performance. You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions and for independently testing any generated code, including compiling, reviewing, backtesting, forward testing, and validating the exact artifact before use.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and update it as needed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the Service or violate these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Strategic Edge AI branding, platform design, EDGE Method materials, and original educational content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your User Content. Rights in AI-generated outputs may depend on applicable law and the terms governing the underlying AI services.
7. User Content
Strategy Projects, uploaded backtests, messages, and other content you create or upload remain your content, subject to the permissions necessary for us and our service providers to process, store, transmit, and display that content to operate the Service.
8. Subscriptions and Billing
Pro is the current recurring monthly subscription offered at the price shown at checkout. Existing legacy subscriptions retain their agreed price and entitlements unless the subscriber chooses a change. The checkout experience shows the amount and billing interval before purchase. Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected by the payment processor. You can manage or cancel through the account billing portal. Unless the portal states otherwise, cancellation stops future renewal and paid access continues through the end of the current paid billing period. Access to paid features ends when the subscription is no longer in an eligible status.
9. EDGE Credits
Each plan includes the monthly EDGE credit allowance shown on Pricing. Successful assistant requests cost: Evaluate 1, Design 3, Generate 15, and Evolve 5 credits. Required Evaluate and Design finalization is included at no additional EDGE-credit charge. Follow-up questions, revisions, and additional code generations are separate successful requests charged at the applicable phase rate. Generate’s 15-credit cost includes its automatic static-check repair pass. Credits are reserved when a request begins and refunded if the platform cannot complete the request or safely preserve the response. Credits reset with each subscription billing period, do not roll over, have no cash value, and expire when the related paid period ends. The public EDGE-icator on the Home page is a limited product FAQ and is not part of the paid EDGE credit allowance.
10. Refunds and Plan Changes
Except where required by law or expressly stated during a specific transaction, subscription charges and unused EDGE credits are not promised as refundable. Plan changes, cancellation timing, and any prorations are shown in the billing portal or checkout before confirmation. Contact hello@thestrategicedge.ai promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect.
11. Generated Code and Validation
Generate performs automated static checks for known source, platform, and policy issues and may attempt an automatic repair. Static checks are not native compilation, execution, backtesting, forward testing, or proof of profitability. You must independently compile and test the exact artifact in NinjaTrader 8 or TradingView with your own data, trading-hours template, commissions, slippage, settings, and risk controls.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Strategic Edge AI and its operators are not liable for trading losses or for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. You use generated strategies, code, and analysis at your own risk and should independently validate them before relying on them.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the posted Terms and, when appropriate, communicated through the Service. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
